Project Description

Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of Sanofi, is the world’s largest company entirely dedicated to human vaccines. Its mission is to protect mankind against infectious diseases by creating safe and effective vaccines.
Sanofi Pasteur is a long-standing participant in the fight against rabies. In this capacity, over the last five years, it has contributed to the creation of four anti-rabies centers in five countries across French-speaking Africa, provided the impetus for creating the AfroREB network, and played a part in numerous rabies-related education and prevention initiatives.
Despite this, with over 60,000 fatalities every year, rabies remains a neglected disease with wide disparities in terms of access to prevention and treatment.
